High School interns win award from the Gravity Research Foundation

Our interns Victoria Shenderov and Mark Suppiah win one of the few "Honorable Mention" awards for the 2024 Gravity Research Essay competition. The competition is run annually by the Gravity Research Foundation, with submissions of essays on gravity from across the globe by researchers from every career stage, including Nobel Laureats. Our team wrote on the interns' study on "Stimulated single graviton detection for testing quantum gravity", putting it into the historical context of early quantum theory. Congratulations to Victoria and Mark, and co-authors Thomas Beitel and Sreenath Manikandan who supported their research!
