Our student Thomas Beitel has completed his PhD at Stevens. He contributed to our ongoing research on graviton detection and quantum statistics in gravitational waves, which lays the foundation for experimental detection of single gravitons. Congratulations Thomas!

Our PhD student Christos Karapoulitidis was selected for the Enrico Fermi Fellowship , with his project on "Testing the Gravity-Quantum Interface with Optical Lattice Atomic Clocks". The Fellowship supports research in fundamental physics at the intersection of theory and experiment. As part of the project, Christos will conduct some of the research at UC Berkeley with our collaborator Shimon Kolkowitz to develop new tests of quantum signatures of proper time in atomic clocks.
