
Our two postdocs, Konstantin Beyer and Joshua Foo, have won awards for their recent research.
Konstantin Beyer was awarded the Georg Helm Prize of the TU Dresden in Germany, for his dissertation ‘On the Measurement of Quantum Work: Operational Aspects’ at the Faculty of Physics. The Georg Helm Prize honors outstanding academic theses at the university. The announcement of the prize can be found here.
Joshua Foo has won the The Universe Travel Award, to support his participation in the upcoming Helgoland 2025 conference, and presentation of his recent research on quantum signatures of proper time evolution in clocks.
