Endowed chair appointment

The Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering and Science announced the appointment of Igor Pikovski as the Geoffrey S. Inman Junior Professor in the Department of Physics. The distinction is given to one junior faculty for a duration of three years. The endowment is named after Geoffrey S. Inman, a WWII veteran who attended Stevens Institute of Technology, earning a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1951.
