Congratulations to Dr. Beitel!

Our graduate student Thomas successfully defended his thesis today.

Thomas worked on the quantization of gravitational radiation, and how the resulting gravitons could be detected in near future experiments. His work explored detection capabilities, and what such experiments will eventually teach us about gravitational radiation in the quantum regime. His series of papers provide the first blueprint on how gravitons could be detected - transforming a long-standing science-fiction vision into reality. Congratulations Thomas!
